Causes, Signs And Remedies For Type 1 Diabetes

The type 1 is a specific type of diabetes caused when the pancreas stops producing insulin and the body sugars are unable to enter the cells and instead acquire in the blood stream. The body cells starve for sugar nutrient and try to get them from other portions of the body.

There is no no such specific cause of type 1 diabetes. At times, the immunological system is activated due to a toxin or a virus. The immune system then mistakenly attacks the pancreas and destroys the beta cells leading to diabetes. Though diabetes can happen at any age, it usually starts under the age of twenty.

The indicators of type 1 diabetes include enhanced thirst, increased hunger [ even after eating ], dryness in the mouth, nausea, puking, and frequent pissing, reduced weight, fatigue, blurred vision, labored breathing and frequent infections of the skin, urinary tract or vagina.

Extreme warning signs of the condition include abdominal agony, shaking, puzzlement, quick respiring and fruity smelling breath.

If you observe signs of diabetes type 1, you check for high blood sugar level. Additionally, you should get urea test done to determine the number of glucose or ketone bodies.

If the condition is left rash, it could lead to more serious and life threatening ailments such as retinopathy, and kidney and nerve damage.

Retinopathy refers to the loss of vision. Nearly 75% of people who have suffered from diabetes for the past 10 years or so tend to have vision problems. In order to avoid retinopathy, you must take adequate steps to lower your blood pressure and also keep your cholesterol levels in control.

Kidney damage or neuropathy has a 40 percent occurrence rate in people suffering from this type of diabetes. The risk for damage increases with advanced age and becomes obvious in those who have lived with type 1 for over 10 years. This may lead to more deadly conditions like kidney or cardiac arrest.

Type 1 diabetes can also cause damage to nerves. Damaged nerves decrease the clotting of blood in injuries. Because of the damage caused to nerves the blood circulation in the feet becomes inadequate. Further on, damaged nerves also lead to a range of health Problems such as butt rot, nausea and vomiting.

The disease, though, can’t be cured, can be managed with insulin shots, exercise, foot care, education and regular blood testing for glucose level readings.

Making alterations in your daily diet can also help you keep type 1 diabetes in control. Include more of fruits and fiber rich substances in your diet and cut down on the intake of junk ad unhealthy food. to date, there is no specific cure for type 1 diabetes. Though technological developments in monitoring sugar levels and insulin delivery techniques have made the process of treating type one diabetes simpler, a permanent cure still remains unknown.
