My friend has a dog that was just diagnosed with diabetes. They had noticed that she was drinking an excessive amount of water and took her to the vet. The vet actually kept her several days to get her blood sugar regulated and to find the proper dose of insulin.

My dog doesn’t have diabetes but he is an older dog and suffers from arthritis. We are giving him glucosimine supplements and have provided a heated bed for him to sleep on. He seems to have less pain in his joints now, but he is certainly not as active as he used to be.
